Yes. All 5-inch liners and components are CE-marked and HETAS approved when installed in accordance with UK Building Regulations.

Should I choose 316L or 904L grade liner?

316L is suitable for wood and most multifuel use. 904L offers greater resistance to corrosion and is recommended for coal or where condensation is a risk.

How do I fit a 5-inch flexible liner?

Insert the liner from the top using a nose cone and rope. Ensure arrows point upward in the flue-gas flow direction. Connect to the stove with the supplied adapter.

What is included in the 5-inch liner kit?

The kit includes the 5-inch flexible liner (per metre), pot hanger rain cap, adapter to stove pipe, and installation nose cone. Extra parts may be required for your setup.

What diameter of flue do you need (mm)?
WOODSTOVES & MULTIFUEL STOVES: The flue legally needs to be a minimum of 6" (150mm) in diameter if you are burning wood or coal. Unless when you install a DEFRA approved stove with a 5" flue outlet, in which case you can use a 5" liner (125mm).
Choose the desired length and the desired quality

Our flexible liner grade 316L is suitable for the relining of masonry flues and use with wood, multi fuel stoves and open fires. The 904 grade is for coal.

We recommend to take some extra length; if your flue liner is not long enough for your installation there will undoubtedly be delays and disappointment (plus the additional cost of a correctly sized flue liner). Adding an extra metre (or two) - will help ensure your installation goes ahead without delay.

Choose the (necessary) connecting stove pipes

You can not connect the flexible liner directly to the stove. You need at least 500mm of stove pipes first.

At 1mm steel thickness the stovepipe can be easily cut to the required size using fine-grain grinding disks. Do not cut the small side of the pipe!

The most common wood stove position involves placing the rear half of the stove within the chimney cavity, while the front half protrudes out into the living space. In this case, it's necessary to connect your stove to the flue liner using two 'elbows' from the top of the stove - so in simple terms, if you can’t put the stove pipe directly up and out of the chimney, then you need to create some 45 degree corners in order for the liner to go backwards (into the chimney cavity) and then up out of the chimney.

Is your stove in a fireplace? You will usually also need a register plate to close off the bottom of the chimney. It is not part of this kit, because you choose its size yourself. Order it separately: register plate 5".
